Hi all,
I'm not sure if anyone out there has any knowledge about this kite but I just picked one up at a market and wondered what it was worth (probably not a great amount I'm guessing) ?
I haven't photoed it yet but it's this one -
http://theswca.com/index.php?action=disp_item&item_id=39373
It came in a cardboard mailer (that I have), with a General Mills, Inc postage label and a date of January 13 1979 written on it. The kite looks to have no damage with the sting going around the edge of it and has 3 sticks included to build it with. The long stick has snapped in half but has tape around it. This could be glue back together easy enough although she'll probably never fly straight again! The shorter stick is complete and there is another shorter stick with one end broken off and missing. There is also the original piece of tissue paper, the same shape as the kite, that it was rolled up with and the clear plastic bag it came in.
I'm not quite sure what this kite came with but anyone with any knowledge about the amount of sticks that came with it, any string to fly it or any paper work would be much appreciated. This information is more what I'm interested in really, rather than the value so please add to this thread if you can as I can't really find out hat much about it other than a picture of the sales stand.
Cheers guys - Ian
