Hi All

I have a few rare and hopefully budget friendly Palitoy Items for sale.

2 rare Palitoy 45a Cards - Hoth Stormtrooper: Unpunched, no nameplate. Fx7 No nameplate and 2 punch holes on the left side. £25 for the pair.

Extremely rare Palitoy 41 back Hoth Rebel Soldier. Nice condition card, the bubble is fully sealed but part of the bottom section has broken away. Figure is in good condition, though weapon and footer are missing.

For reference, only 5 complete and fully sealed samples have surface, the last one selling for £3k. Looking for £95

Crazily rare 45a 21b. Resealed card, no footer. For reference, only 3 fully sealed ones have been confirmed. Last one that sold at auction went for around £7k. Looking for £350

More images available on request.

There is some movement on prices within reason.

Plus postage. Buyer to pay via PP F&F or PP G&S plus fees.

Hi there, I am new here so not sure how this works and whether longer serving members get first refusal etc but I would potentially be interested in the two figures if you would do a deal on them both? Many thanks!

Just read the descriptions properly (was just glancing earlier!) What's a footer in this context when you say they aren't present? Also could the bubble be fixed on the soldier? Thanks and sorry for the annoying questions.

A footer is the small piece of coloured card that's at the bottom of some bubbles.

Not sure what you mean by your second question

Sorry, could I technically glue to bit of bubble that has come away back to the rest of the bubble?

Technically yes, as I have seen this done on other bubbles, though you may have a better option with this one. If you look at the image, there is an area indicated with a red arrow that provides a reasonably sized area that could be glued directly to the card and so provide a stronger reattachment.

There is also a thinner strip - indicated with a blue arrow which could also provide an area that could be glued back to the card and further support the attachment.

Though the above idea was my initial plan, but I never got round to doing it. Don't think I was sure I had the skill to make it look good. In the end I managed to get one of the known sealed ones.

Certainly a decent reattachment is possible with enough thought and skill. Some of the members on here may have some good suggestions to make it as good as possible.

Ok that's interesting. Let me explore this a bit more and will come back to you (if they are still available obviously!)

Just as an aside
Affixing this would then put the item into the reseal/partial reseal category. Given the fact that it's currently fully sealed other than the breakaway piece and the rarity of the piece for me I would keep it as it is, but that's only my opinion

This is still a lovely example of a rare card

Apologies for hijacking the thread!

I second that, leave it as it is.

I'm probably way too late here, but is the Rebel Solider 41 back still available?

In that case I'd like to claim it please, if you're OK with shipping it to the Netherlands?
