I have a near mint dark brown rebel soldier pink face for sale.
Price is 115 Gbps incl. tracked shipping from Germany.

Nice chance to get this one into your collection without the thriller of bidding on eBay.

Thank you.

Hi Holger - can't believe I missed your Rebel Soldier - if you find another in that condition then let me know - have always wanted to add one

Hmm - price was too low? Should've gone to the Valuation thread first, I guess.
I checked eBay prices of the past and pink face variants only did get up to 150 US$ so I thought that'll be a good price.

Anyway, it's going to a good home and that's more important than anything else.
No regrets.

Holger, as long as you were satisfied with the price you got and the other party is going to keep it in his collection and not flip it on ebay then everyone wins.

Refreshing to see an item sell for a fair price and everybody be happy.

Hopefully karma will deliver you something you are looking for at a good price soon :)

It's not going to be flipped.

We almost did a trade on this before Holger decided to sell but I wanted to really keep the item I was going to trade, so in some ways, this figure was destined to come home with me :)

Why is everyone so price obsessed nowadays. If both parties are happy, what's the problem??

I know Mark has been after one of these for a while and I've even sent him a couple of links when they've cropped up for sale on other forums and foreign ebay sites.

So congrats in striking another variant off your list Mark :)

Hi Holger, I think the price was perfect  It is the pale/white and some also call them grey face that is the ****ing expensive ones :(

What I do not understand is how a guy in spain can get £600 more for the same white face than a guy in germany and there is only 1 day between the sales

Maybe it is the gun that makes the price different :?

Naaa, honestly, I don't think about selling way to cheap or even getting the best price by squeezing out buyers. It's just that you really never know these days what the prices are. And I of course I don't want to be completely off price, because...

I sold this one although he's a rare figure in this condition because I am refocusing my collection, sort of downsizing. So the money returns instantly back into the hobby.

I can't keep up collecting all variations with my actual income because I am reaching a point where only rare and expensive figures are missing. My focus is and has always been SW, I have never been very keen on ESB and ROTJ. And now I'm selling a lot of variants to fund what is still missing...
Examples? A boxed sandcrawler (object to trade for with Mark) and a boxed sonic Landspeeder. Those two will squeeze me out that's for sure.

I did downsizing before by selling all boxed ESB and ROTJ vehicles and monsters and it makes you really feel better, feel free, released. Because the mad completionist I am there will always be stuff I won't get and that'll drive me crazy.

So I am a hundred percent happy Mark is getting this one as he's been after him for a while and we're thought about dealing for quite some time.

If it really was about squeezing out, eBay would have been the best choice trying a high buyitnow for some time and without success starting an auction.

But that would've never been my way as I worship forums like these way more. Meeting people, making friends, find trustworthy sellers.

As we've seen recently, this forum has some really good people onboard, and I could reel off dozens of names that spring to mind, Holger being one of them.

Personally, I thought it was a fair/good price and one I could afford and if for whatever reason Holger wants to re-sell or keep the figure all he has to do is let me know, I'm fine with that and I certainly would not hold it against him. Both parties need to be happy.

Can't wait to get him.

Just need a few more now Stef...

I don't collect loose any more and never been bothered about varient's but I have to admit the DB Rebel Soldier is tempting. Nice to see one selling on here for a good price.
