Fundamentalism in what context?

That I have a set of ideas that I wont change? Maybe and you'd be right but that makes me who I am ;)

Thats all I can see in my posts that is remotely fundamentalist. There is nothing religious in my post, in fact I thought fundamentalism was sticking to your beliefs in the face of criticism from the masses. In that case then apart from the lack of any religious undertones your the fundamentalist with your view that repros are 'ok' and that we should change our minds to suit you.

No BenBob, no one need to suit me.
It's just that I think you're contemptuous (God help me, I find that translation on the internet) with people who have repro cards.
They are not cheap people.

I see it more like a stamp collection you know, when you have the picture of the stamp in the album at the very place where the original must be placed once you manage to have it? Do you see what my bad english tries to say?
I had my collection on the wall, and I bet I am not the only one here. By luck, I had original ones. Enough to cover the entire wall. What if I hadn't the money? That's all.
Repros will NEEEEEVERRRR be originals.
Just for the smell of them. Yummi

Thanks for the link. It's a pity I don't see the pics.
None of my work.
It leaves a bad taste...

Yanice the translator you use looks like it gives literal translation and some of your words do come across as contemptuous ;) But I will now let them pass as I understand where thay come from and they are starting to make me laugh.

I have no problem with the indivual making repros for their own display :)

What I do have a problem with the individual selling the tools needed to help someone produce something that is repro or even worse! Your files could end up in th ewrong hands and then sold to less knowledgable collectors who think they are getting a bargin.

I would never say that I thought anybody was cheap, well unless they asked for it :)

Personally I dont like repros and I certainly dont like them being sold, simples.

I spent a lot of time on them.
If they can bring me back some original MOC figures, I won't feel guilty. After what happened to my collection.

So what are you saying?.....If somebody uses your cardbacks that you have made and puts the figures and bubbles on them, then passes them off as the real thing.....You're not bothered as long as you make some money on them? IMO thats just as bad as the person trying to sell them as the real thing, because you are giving them the means to do it.....

Chewie!
What's that craziness? Who said that?
Or... What made you understand that?

UNDERSTOOD! The "I won't feel guilty" thing.
Oh God!
That may me a clumsy translation from french.
It's all about selling my work. I'm not really confortable with that. I was just thinking someone will be happy to own my files and I would be happy to get some carded figures in trade.

Now let me ask you something:
Why you people here want me to have bad intentions??

i am sorry to say this but if i find repo stuff i will just put in in a pile in my room then get them all checked to make sure then shred them i hate the stuff they have no right in my house sorry about it this if you think i am wrong but its the one thing i hate

If its a translation problem then i appologise.

Any way, why imagine I have bad intentions?
Seriously?

Let's forget this!
Won't somebody sell me a Meccano cardback?

Yanice,

You may feel some of the lads are harsh on your work.

This forum is for collectors of vintage Star Wars toys which you obviously have a love of based on your other posts.

However, when we see people re-producing elements of vintage toys whether it be weapons, cardbacks, Re-cards etc it is not be well accepted.
The vast majority of collectors on this forum would not entertain having any fake or re-production items in their collection as it goes against what we
believe in or collect.

I'm sure there is a market for your cardbacks but I really would leave it on here as no one will be interested.

I think it is important and great that you mark the cardbacks to be re-productions.

It doesn't matter how much money you have, but none of the collectors on this forum are interested in re-carding figures onto fake cardbacks.

Enjoy the forum. You are more than welcome but I think you have the message that no-one will entertain fake cardbacks within their collections as we
will not get enjoyment out of them.

i am sorry but the thing thats gets me pissed off is when people try and push the repo stuff as real and as for repo weapons burn them all if you cant buy the real deal save for it i have pick up lots of real nice bit cheap but i would like to have a card that is marked price label damage than a bit of repo crap

Do what you like. People know I have nothing against repro's, I do however prefer customs and there is a difference. I don't know how you could possibly charge 45€ for a disc which as some images that are readily free on the internet and if anybody wants them I will email them to you for free. The guys here (My friends as I see it) and on RS(Well anyways) have been shafted in the past and worry about getting shafted again. I do however feel in your defense that you have the right to do what you like and not cave into what the star wars "Purists" think as most time a majority of them worry about how it will de-value their collection and are not really concerned with the new novice collectors. Warning- No flaming required from our one and two time posters from RS at me .

At last a clever message, without barking or paranoid delirium.
I appreciate. Sincerely. Thanks Burnsy!
That gives hope.
You expressed your opinion and that's your right, something people here tend to forget when it's about me.
I do respect every point of view. It's all about manners.

Is there a way we can cancel that topic?
Perhaps I was clumsy (the kind: Hey, people, I have something to sell) but I don't deserve the stupidities and suspicions I generated within members here.
They all forget the fun of collecting. And that's the sad part.
What? I'm a newbie here, so I should shut up?
I am just a vintage carded Star Wars lover (and I like custom cardbacks, yeah!).
Some of you are far too aggressive. Is that an effect of the Dark Side?
I don't want to become the Sith you are!

I'm changing the topic right now, until a Moderator helps me and cancels it.
Peace and Fun!

Header changed.
Paranoid people here won't understand again and I don't care.
I won't spend more time here justifying myself to dummies.

Clever members, always a pleasure to chat with you!
Now won't somebody sell me a Meccano cardback? Even in bad shape?
I need the smell of it!!!

Yanice,

I don't think you're doing yourself any favours by calling members on here 'paranoid' or 'dummies' mate.

The simple fact is a lot of the lads on here do not like repros and you openly come onto the forum trying to sell them.

I don't think people are being aggressive, I just think there was a translation error as it seemed you were telling a member
they cannot afford certain items.

Whatever, Burnsy,
It's all about manners.
You expressed same thing as others. But you did it in a correct way.
That's all.
And I know you can understand what I'm saying, despite trying to defend your fellow members.
You are respectable.

Now let's talk about something else... What we're here for...
Star Wars collecting!

:) Salut yanice,

you have just got off to a bad start, une mal depart et une petit difficle en communication.

The guys here hate ANY repros, le mec ici deteste tout repro.

it was just bad luck you started with the two worst crimes on this forum

Selling something from the start. Attempte a vende une piece dans votre depart.

and selling repro/custom , est vendu ? repro.

enjoy the forum and dont mention too much about repros and it you will enjoy it.

je suis desole pour mon francais. :D

 my french is rusty and worse when typed, but no googletrans or babelfish for me,,, seriously i probably said something wrong there.
