Archived FS: Autographed Chewbacca 12 Back C MOC !!! *SOLD*

Hi folks!
Up for grab is a Chewbacca 12 Back C Kenner MOC. Comes with original handsigned autograph by Peter Mayhew himself!
There are a couple of flaws with this as follows: The bubble has slightly lifted in upper left corner (I pulled a sheet of white paper under it to make it visible) and is dented at the top and right site, but without cracks. The rest is firmly attached and 100% factory sealed with original waffle pattern. The cardback does have a crease in lower right corner, some scuff marks on the back, but is unpunched. The coolest thing is the original autograph handsigned by Peter Mayhew in gold permanent marker. Looks really awesome and makes this a wonderful and unique display piece!

It would be nice to have some opinions on autograph carded figures, myself I wouldn't want any of my moc's autograph. I'm not sure it adds much to a piece unless its one of the very top stars. I've a huge collection of autographs but on trading cards and pictures of the actors themselves. I suppose my main concern is how can it be proven that's his signature? I have peter Mayhew's signature on a card and a picture, I get the satisfaction that I got them myself, but those items were quite worthless and I didn't mind defacing them! I guess this is cheap for a 12 back. Anyone with any thoughts?

totally agree i would never get anything vintage signed and it will devalue it i collect autographs but i use the POTF2 mocs and i have to obtain them in person and meet the actor/actress this to me is the only way to know it is 100% legit and got to say it adds to the enjoyment of collecting them

There's quite a long thread on RS about this - I think the general consensus was that it didn't add value and in most case put people off

That is not to say that this isn't a great piece and I am sure loads of us would love to have it in our collections
