I should put my full display boxes for sale.

2 sets = £82

My 12 sets = £492 plus 2 display boxes

Check that out FTSE 100 Index ! ! !

Grant why don't you lay off being the price police! I sold 18 sets of these and I seem to recall selling a set to you quite cheaply plus throwing in a few of the spares you needed for free.

Yes. For £25 last year. They were from a box you bought off my mate Paul for £45.

Quite the bargain really and you've done well out of it that's for sure. I just don't understand why they have valued them as much as £90?

I was collecting them for 2 years and they averaged at £3 a piece. For example;

So, if this a free ads, then no worries. But if this a community, then I feel I have right to question something that is priced incorrectly.

It seems like there's a culture recently of offering £175 for UKG graded Klattu MOCs that I find embarrassing.

If this is the value of these pieces, then fine.

I have just never seen them anywhere this value.

Where did you get this value?

With free shipping and paypal fees plus the lower offers I usually accept they usually end up selling for about £25 per set each or less. I sold 18 sets fairly quickly so I'm not sure why I should expect any less. Not that I should need to explain myself to you.

Some people don't want to spend 2 years putting sets together.

And I wonder why this price policing is so selective. I don't see anyone being as rude in Andy plants FS thread for the prices he's charging for some of his proofs. Wonder why you are picking me out.

I don't really know about Andys Proofs. I only bought the TIE Pilot POTF one, which we both must agree was a good price because we both wanted it.

I guess Andy will have to discuss that one.

I do know about the erasers though. They are £3 each except Chewbacca on Star Wars and Chewbacca and ewoks on ROTJ who don't show up as often for some reason. I guess kids what pictures of furballs on their erasers. I'd put them at £5.

The only reason it took years was because I won't spend more than £3 as a rule. Plenty BIN for a fiver. In the end I got fed up and you sorted us out. Big thanks for that.
Proofs in general seem to priced a lot higher recently. Look at Marc's Revenge Sale last month.
And remember Bran's £175 Klattu.

Confused now: was the sale for two sets of ROTJ + two sets of SW erasers? i.e. Double what was shown in the photo?

Not going to get into a debate on my stuff, find me another un-produced prune face proof cut from sheet that has sold and then compare where we are going wrong.

Enjoy your debate guys :)

Jesus, its Friday night and were arguing about the price of erasers. I certainly didnt but any of them for £3. The only bargain i got was when i bought a case. Tod Chamberlain was selling them about £5 or £6 each - would anyone like to call him out about that. For **** sake I usually let them go for £25 a set. I sold 18 sets in a matter of weeks. Doesn't really suggest I'm that far out.

Yeah you got the Tie Fighter POTF. That was Seths and we all knew how much it cost. I passed it up because Andy wouldnt accept paypal. I'm not up for debating Andy's prices. But my point is maybe you should since you've taken on the role of price police. And charging an extra £5 - £10 for a set of Erasers (which is effectively what were arguing about) is a hell of a lot different than selling proofs twice the price.

Nope 1 set of Star Wars and one set of ROTJ. I usually put them up at £40 a set and by the time I pay fees and postage and take offers they usually go for £25 each.

Andy Pruneface and Klaatu are the most common POTF proofs and there are somewhere in the region of up to 10 each. Plus they are the least desirable characters. The numbers are that high because some on sheets turned up like many other of the most common POTF proof cards. A Tie Fighter Pilot exists in numbers of 3-5 and is a lot more desirable character as well as unproduced.

Anyway I have no problem with your prices. Just wondering why you get an easy ride.

werent you defending a certain friend on facebook who was selling 80% of seths list when he was getting a 70% discount and free shipping and people were slating him for it.

oh right sorry, thats different yeah? you want to bring me into the argument about this for some reason..if you have an issue with me then open up a thread about it, sly digs tells me you have something to say?

That's all good, I just don't understand the valuation.

These went for £100 on Thursday 25th June 2015 10:30am at Vectis.

I think they went £20 cheaper than its value. As you can see there are 6 sets of the erasers, sealed box of the Record erasers (36 in box) plus the box of pencil toppers.

Can you see what I mean?

No its not different - it's the same. I'm just wondering why one person gets called out and another doesnt!

I'm not call out Andys prices, because I have only bought one item that I thought was a good price. Don't know anything about Prune Face proofs.

I'll leave it there mate. I don't understand the valuation on the erasers. That all.
