I've just had a really busy shitty few days so i thought i'd take some time out and check out the forum. This is the first thread i've read and its cheered me right up.

Wow, I go to bed early last night and today log in to see this thread having exploded. my .02 on the 3 3/4 fake stormys.... When they first hit, I waited til I had a set in hand to compare to a real Kenner piece to pass judgment. I caught flack for that, and that's all well and good. I got them and the opened one is definitely a risk for loose variation collectors and if there were a way to stop them getting into the hobby, I'd be all for it. Beyond that, and because we know that they'll be all over the place..... the best thing now is to educate people, AND as much as I hate them.... educate AFA as to the COO's and what to look for on the fakes.
As for the RS fiasco.... my opinions of RS as a forum are well known, that said, there are some genuinely good people there. There's a boatload of assholes too, but there are some people that have proven themselves as real friends time and time again, luckilly most of them also post on TIG, and some here too.
Personally I don't know why anyone that has a problem with people here doesn't just join and bring the argument with them. They can get their point across, and then get laughed at for it, or if they're not being a total chode, just agree to disagree, and have another place to talk SW.
Overall it's **** like this that makes me glad that I'm getting out..
