found it the attic...REALLY !

Slim,

I noticed you have a 2008 Premier Collectible Auction catalogue in your picture. I also have one of these somewhere, some very interesting pictures in there.

Also the Sansweet book is quite good aswell. I also have one or 2 of his other publications. I once bought a carded figure from his co author Josh Ling. The guy is a gem.

any other good vintage starwars books out there ??

The ultimate book in my opinion is the Kellerman Collecting book.
It touches on almost every aspect of the hobby concerning vintage cards and pre production items.

Cool books Slim!
Did you pick them up after you stopped collecting last time or are they what you were going by, reference wise, whilst you were originally collecting?

Not sure if you have already seen any of these books or not Slim but they are all worth tracking down.

Irwin Toys: The Canadian Star Wars Connection - Jim McCallum's superb guide to Canadian collectibles. Full of great pics and information, well worth a read

Meccano to TriLogo - Stephane Faucourts book, title says it all. You could probably still get this one on RS at a discount price.

Star Wars- From Concept to Screen to Collectible - This book is by Steve Sansweet and came out in the Pre-Internet days of 1992. I was blown away when I first saw this one as I had never seen a Rocket Firing Fett, a Sandcrawler or any of the Preproduction stuff that appears in this book. Bit out of date now but still well worth a read

Star Wars Vintage Action Figures - John Kellerman's collectors bible. Think you already know about this one

Mine came from Japan (I think Amazon) it was about £30-£35 including postage. Well worth it.

The only draw back is it is all in Japanese
