Appreciate the gesture guys, hopefully it won't come to that. I'm not a fan of forums that try and milk their users for money when it's not necessary. I'm a member of a car forum that charges £10 per year to be able to post sale ads. The charge is apparently to cover 'server and running costs' and the site has approx. 100 gold members, possibly more. I'd love the guy who runs the site to breakdown exactly where that £1,000 goes. You could hire a dedicated server capable of running a large e-commerce website for that kind of money. My guess is he pockets 90% of it. :evil:

Yep I've offered before and I'll offer again I would have no problem making a donation to keep this place running. I think most members would trust you enough Ed and hey anything left over could go to a prize for a comp at the end of the year.

Oh bluedog I like that idea. Each Christmas randomly draw a member who gets to choose something (probably from iain :lol: ) to the value of the excess.
