Hi people, just recently found and joined the forum. Typical story as was a bit Star Wars kid circa 82-84 time then they seemed to take a back seat to Transformers and MASK and He Man and later video games. Ended up selling what I had at a
Boot sale around 88/89 time, which is a sorry I've heard from quite a few people.
Found the action figure grader Chanel by chance last summer on YouTube and found it interesting to see the old toys being discussed and how great they looked displayed and traded etc and considered starting up a collection of my own. By chance around this time also a friend of a friend was selling his childhood Star Wars toys and I said I'd take a look at them ( figures and a few ships and mini rigs nothing that exciting but all in excellent condition inc a really nice AT AT and Falcon complete.
After that it was browsing eBay to search for items I was interested in. First thing I ended up doing was buying the complete run of loose figures , up to last 17, which didn't take but a few weeks, I went but crazy and the postman didn't know what hit him. After that it sprawled to graded vehicles and figures and then graded mocs and before you know it I'm buying Ledy Mocs and 12 inch's graded and on and on it goes
Fast forward 12 months and I've so far put together a pretty nice collection. I'll post some pictures in the appropriate thread shortly. I've also learnt an awful lot about the toys , variants , bootlegs, afa ukg , and had so much fun along the way.
Anyway that's my story, look forward to interacting with you and this forum
