Forum Fantasy Football League 2015-16 is live

As the title says, the league is live. You have a month to sort out your teams, you can make as many transfers as you want for free up until the season kicks off.

Looks like we get three coupons this year. "All out attack" "captain triple" and "bench bonus". All pretty self explanatory I suspect.


For any newbies or people who havent played before, it's totally free and quite addictive. The prize as ever is bragging rights.

I will give it a crack this year. I probably won't win though as strong religious beliefs prevent me from selecting from an entire squad, as well as half of the Man City squad.

This is season is going well for me. Captain Aguero who limps off after 20 mins, Silva missed the game with injury, Toure and Albrighton do FA and get booked. Sanchez does FA, ditto Wilson, Gomis and Ayew. Yoshida gets dropped, no biggy in comes Taggart for a CS and a bonus point, but no! Yoshida comes on with 15 to go, collecting 1pt and leaving Taggart on my bench. Skertl does FA bar getting roasted. Dawson brings in my only real pts of the GW with a CS, Butland gets 2 save pts.

All in all probably my worst week in years. One CS, no goals, no assists, no bonus points. 26pts :roll:


Ohh and I sold Payet at the end of the last GW to get Ayew. That worked out well. :twisted: :evil: :roll:

So... transferring out the pairing of Kane and Anderwield this week as well as packing my defence with Man City players worked really well for me!!! :x :x :x
Only the third win of the season for Spurs and its a 4-1 against Citeh?!?!?

Ohhh I can beat that. I sold Sanchez last week, as part of an 8pt hit. Sanchez bags a hattrick this week, 20pts pissed away, plus the 8 the transfers costs me. Then Wilson gets stretchered off, Toure limps off injured, Silva misses his third game in a row, Mahrez has his worst week of the season in his first week in my team, Gomis gets subbed at HT and Aguero, Auew and Pedro do FA.

This week I managed a massive 19 pts, with 8 pts to come off. So eleven points. ELEVEN!!!!
I'd have scored more if I just pressed auto compkete in August and did nothing since then.

Genuinely never had a week like this in the years i've been playing the game. Seven weeks in and i've not had a decent score yet.
