That's me with my Christmas AT-AT in '82. I think either Greedo or Darth were the first figures my dad bought me. God i loved my AT-AT :D

Great picture xpack1 - love how all your figures are propped up against the walker, I remember doing the same because it was so hard to make the figures stand up on carpet :D

Alas, no. That's the only one. I do have one of me with a brand new Raleigh Vector BMX bike though.

I know what you mean. There was no chance of standing them up on carpet. My wife's kid does the same now. Christmas before last i got him a rebel troop transporter for £25 off Ebay. Had no box so it looked a bit odd wrapped up. He loves it to bits. Keeps all his figures inside. I've also loaned him my ESB Falcon to play with. They are pretty indestructible.

It is still a nice picture and also rare to have a picture with star wars from childhood. I don't think many of us here have such pictures with star wars from our childhood :D

Hi xpack1 - great pic :D

Aslo good to hear that kids are still playing with vintage stuff - My Son is nearly 3 and has a collection of loose vintage figs that he loves - he knows lots of names also these days :D

Many thanks.

I think that some of the more common stuff should be played with. Like i said, the Falcon is pretty much indestructible so why not. They look after things so it's ok

My best xmas memory was getting my holy grail of vehicles the millenium falcon as I already had most of the other rebel vehicles(x wing, snow speeder,y wing)."You're gonna have to wait for xmas for that big one!" mum told me LOL. My WORST memory was at my cousins house an we were prowling through closets looking for presents when we found a Kenner DEATH STAR!! Wecouldnt believe our eyes, promptly opened it and after looking at it put it back so his mum/my aunt wouldn't know we had found it. Well sorry to say auntie came home, figured out what we had done and BLEW her stack lol. She told us that the DS wasn't for my cousin and he shouldn't have opened it. We figured "Yeah right" and couldnt wait for xmas day to combine our SW fleets and go crazy  Imagine my cousins surprise xmas when he opened his presents and there was NO DS!! To this day we haven't figured out if it WAS for him an she gave it away for punishment

Best childhood Christmas memory ever - ripping the paper off and finding a HUGE SW Millennium Falcon!!!!!! Complete with carded Han Solo, Chewie and Luke, I remember the names had been cut out so I'm guessing Santa was saving them to get me a free Dengar :D

AT AT Walker was the first present I stumbled across in my parents wardrobe (I couldn't eat my tea that night) on the build up to xmas and it started a great tradition of "find the present" that I proudly carry on to this day - my wife came home early from her mothers this year to find me on the living room floor Y Wing in hand

The last SW Christmas I remember getting B Wing fighter, Scout Walker, B Wing Pilot and Nien Nunb - decided the B Wing was just too cool for a standard Rebel fighter so it became Han Solo's daily drive

Funny thing is even though SW played such a big part of all my Christmas/birthdays I only have 1 picture, not sure which year but that's the build a droid and I'm pretty sure the wrapped present on the chair is my X Wing.
