Wow that's a lucky close call, just be glad it didn't happen while you were away and it could have ended up much worse.
It's the stuff of nightmares. :shock:
You may wanna get a dehumidifier in there running for a day or two to remove the excess moisture soaked up in the floor & walls, as any moisture that's been soaked up by concrete & wood will evaporate out when it gets warmer, and can seep back into papers and card when they absorb the moisture.
