I've not long joined that fb site ,some nice pieces but your right about the deep pockets ,there does seem to be a look at me and my **** hot collection ,I'm just jealous realy :( i think I witnessed a member put together a palitoy 12 back run of 85 grades over a weekend  easy if you have wayne rooneys wage packet ! still it's a verry nice site ,Carl Easter pointed me towards it after I bought I 21 back fett from him ,still pinching myself over that purchase ,cheers carl :D

Easy sure, but where's the fun in it? Any moron can put a 12 back set together for 20k overnight, just look on eBay. I had a lot of fun putting mine together for 1k!

I know right ,that's the joke I'm still trying after 3 years ,you start with a few 75s then you change tact and go 80s start selling pieces to get more 80s then you get ambitious and start on 85s so you start selling your 80s then you realise your not going to afford the 85 run at current prices and guess what the 80s are now stupid money and your left with a mix and match focus !! Easy with deep pockets but the truth is were is the fun in that :D

Ah yes that's the difference, AFA 85s are a different league I'm afraid, you will virtually never get an 85 bargain. There's too many sticker collectors fighting over them! Go for ungraded, they tend to slip under the radar a lot easier, especially if you buy ones with crap pictures and take a gamble on the condition.

So it's an aim to get all your figures with the same grade? Wow, proper challenge.

What about card types, are people bothered? I have 11 of the first 12 (looking for affordable Luke like many) and I have 4 card types in there - Kenner, Palitoy, Takara, and Clipper. Will look cool when photographed as the set is complete.

I'm a idiot because I've lost money and still not got exactly what I set out to get ,but I do have the key grail pieces I set out to get ,but not the complete 12 back ,but your focus sounds cool infact it s gonna look double smart on them cards ,I hope you find that 12 back luke ,it's getting harder and harder because they go for silly money ,I wish you all the best mate ,I have noticed they are comming up for sale on FB more often

The most important thing with buying from someone who has flipped something on to you for a quick profit is not to forget to thank them publically for the opportunity and kindness they have showed in allowing you to add the item to your collection, and being gracious enough to accept your payment for the item.

Please don't forget this people.
