First purchase help

Hey guys the end of the month I'm looking to get one Mayberry more tri logo carded figures from a place called galactibles.com if that's spelt correctly haha, any info regarding previous expirience with the shop I would be very greatful as the place looks ok to me but as I'm a top noob any help would be great

His stuff is all nice, but overpriced in my opinion. That said it's all high grade, so if that's what your into then he's a good seller to buy off as far as eBay goes. Apart from price the carded stuff is all good.

I just had a look. Prices seem on the high side and I think you would get better value via the Forum / Face Book or eBay.

If going by EBay and condition is vital I would recommend getting something that is graded by AFA / UKG

All his stuff is graded and on eBay, I would also say if your buying Trilogos graded be carefull as the bubbles crack easily on some figures like Anakin and The Emperor depending on bubble type. I wouldn't recommend spending £200 on a Trilogo Emperor for exactly that reason.

Robbie is a well known dealer. He provides a good service and has high end stuff, but as others have said you pay a premium for that. You can find equivalent condition ungraded items for significantly less with a little patience. As a rule of thumb, Buy It Now on eBay is about the worst/most expensive way to buy anything. No reserve auctions are your best best of getting things for a good price, or forums.

If you post up which particular trilogos you're wanting to buy, some of us can advise on what kind of price you will expect to pay.

Thanks for the fast replays guys much appreciated and it gives me something to think about with my first buy, I don't mind spending a little more and get one or two things from the web page mentioned and have the price of mind that I'm not being done and sold a fake as for what one looking to get that will be judged on how much money I have to spend the end of the month and what's about at that time haha

If it's Tri Logo your looking for, then be prepared to become addicted :lol:

As with any purchase, be it Tri logo or any other SW area, research and patience is the key to getting what you want at the right price.

Iain is a trusted seller on here that regularly has MOC sales threads at great prices and you know it's the real deal, there are regularly sales of mocs on here from the guys as well, again you can rest assured it's the real deal.

Do a little research as well, as that may direct you to a particular character/ moc that yo may not have considered, JOE is a member on here and has a great reference on his site trilogo info... Have a look on there also.

Plus you could put up a WTB thread on here and see if you get any responses.

Ok and thanks again I'll put up thread at the end of the month and see what's about, also I'll look into the charioteers a bit in the mean time and see what takes my fancy haha
