As some of you on here will know, I had to leave my home for rather unfortunate reasons over 4 years ago and as a result had to take down my collection.

http://www.starwarsforum.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=144

I've not been able to have anything on display since then, but have finally found a small area to place a few items while I wait until the day until I can display it all again.

Not quite the same display as what I used to have, but it's better than nothing. Having struggled with deciding exactly what to display, I opted for my AFA graded figures. I only had a round 22 so picking them was easy and plus these were never on display in my old collection room as I had no way of displaying them, so they seemed like a good choice. And all Palitoy!!

Finally....... be hoping to see these for a while

This could become one of the most viewed threads on here if you keep going

Just as you can't take your eyes of the porn on the top shelf of a petrol stations magazine rack, I can't seem to take my eyes of the top shelf of your new display.

Loving the miscard and the hybrids.

Outstanding. Looking forward to you displaying more.

Always great to see your Palitoy stuff Gary. 8)

I am still struggling to even find some of those on opened card backs, fantastic to see the MOC.

Thanks for sharing and hope you get to display the rest of your collection soon.

Can't wait!

Good show Gary, I feel for you mate, there myself at the moment with my entire collection sitting in boxes with a huge reduction in available space to display & it hurts, really chuffed for you mate, onward & upward, there will be no stopping you now :)

Cheers guys

It's great to have something on display again.

I have another smaller set of shelves that I will display stuff on, though for now the ones featured above will be the only MOC.

These were the easiest ones to find, and I had more AFA than I thought!! Everything else is still in star cases so slightly harder to display on shelves. Though would be nice to have a bit of rotation. My collection is boxed up and has been since 2010. It would be nightmare to sort through everything and there is no logic in the way they were boxed as everything was done in a bit of a rush.

And if you saw my last Facebook status about dropping a load of stuff on the floor, it was the box that had all the afa stuff. It just fell apart as I was carrying it and everything fell to the floor!!

Great that you've finally managed to get a bit displayed Gaz, if and when you get the remainder up,be sure to post some pics of the Palitoy Palace :D

I've only recently got some of my stuff out on display, and I spend ages looking at them  I can't wait to see some more pics of the remainder at some point in the future......

Some of those MOC look familiar 8)

Great display to see Gary and it must feel so good to have some of your collection finally out on display.

One thought I had about you being able to rotate your collection from time to time is to maybe get some AFA style cases with the sliding bottoms. That would mean you could get the ones you want out of their pro-tech cases and display them safely on your shelves.

Just a thought and is there any chance you could post a close up of your Large Head Han 12 back as I'd love a closer look?

Look forward to seeing more at some point.

Ian

Great to see them Gary. Looking good.

You should open a museum with your collection. By far the best Palitoy collection in the world and im sure it leaves us in awe :D

Lovely set mate, some real great rarities there 8)
It's interesting you don't have any graded 30 backs there as you own so many but have some v rare graded 41 backs etc :)
