Finally managed to get the original 12!!!

I'll see my mate Stephen on Saturday at Collectormania. He has hundreds of loose figures for sale . I'm going to get him on here.

I have the yellow haired luke, just need to get him a saber! And I prob will get a pin head han at some point, though they don't seem to crop up too often.

Whats your next collecting goal?

Well I should go for last 17, but its a blue snag I'm really wanting. I'd also love a land of the jawas and dagobah playset even though I don't really have the room at the mo for playsets. Im waiting for my parents to have a clear out in their loft so I can get to all my vintage playsets and ships, I have loads, but honestly can't remember what I own!

Congratulations its very pleasing when you complete a goal, time to move on to the next and last 17 would be a good place to start particularly as you already have some.

You have a stash of goodies in the loft and not sure what's there? I had immense fun digging out all my old gear and carefully cleaning it all, matching up the weapons (which I'd stored in Jabbas throne!) :lol:

I managed to score Luke poncho, General Lando + Imperial gunner at the weekend, all complete and got a very reasonable deal. Only need 3 for a full set now.

For me, it's all in he hunt for getting the pieces you'd like at the right price. So much more satisfying when an item does come your way. There's little challenge in just splashing the cash for an instant collection.

Yeah I deffo have a jabba the hutt playset, though its lacking the lower part of the bowl and the back of the throne, and a rancor monster. And Im pretty sure I have a rebel transport, a Falcon, a slave 1 and quite a few mini rigs. It'll be like christmas when they actually clear out the loft enough for me to get to it all. In fact its so messy, it probably won't be until christmas when I can get to it al! Haha.

When I moved out at 18, five years ago, I left a fair bit of stuff, so will be exciting to see what I did leave. I did leave a collection of star wars lego, all complete and stuff, but my younger sisters found their way to that, and i found a broken up x-wing fighter under the living room sofa, and I wasn't best pleased!

Its funny you should say about weapons in jabbas throne, Im positive I have a little zip lock bag with loads of weapons in, in my jabbas throne! I bloody hope it is anyway!

I know what you mean about RS and this is the best forum. I came from tig and the same problem was on that forum. Collectors I didn't want to deal with, where friendly debate was non existent, just full blown arguments, and a sense of humour was lacking. I have heard that has changed today, but I am not going back because this is the best forum in the galaxy Maybe it changed after I left :? :lol:

Totally agree. RS was my first forum & although I still use it from time to time, this is my absolute mainstay.

Fantastic looking first 12 by the way! I'm still chasing mine - it's always that elusive Solid Dome that seems to slip through my fingers...
