Favourite ship or play set?

For me it was the speeder bike i was lucky enough to have 2. 1 for a stormie 1 for luke. they used to spend hours chasing each other blowing each other up. a close 2nd is the falcon but it was just a bit to big for lil me and used to get used as a base.

Happy days!!!

When I was a kid my fave was the speeder bike, and the one that I really wanted was the Dagobah playset, but looking at it as an adult it does look **** a big plastic tree stump  it does not sound like a good toy, but as a kid I so wanted one.

AT-AT (Although i never had one as a kid) and Slave 1

Not a B-Wing, Tim?

I can't remember that well, but I think I used to like the speeder bike.

Now I like the Jabba the Hutt Dungeon Playset, for some reason. It should be Slave 1, I suppose. :p

Fave as a kid was the Falcon, I got one for Xmas when I was 4 or 5, the only ship I got, would love to find it in my old mates basement. (traded against some crap toys  )
Todays faves are Slave 1, the Falcon and the Speederbike, TIE fighter is up there too...

My favorite playset as a kid was the deathstar, the Canadian version which is pretty much the same as the palitoy one. I got it 2nd hand but with most if not all the parts. The fact that you had to assemble it before playing with it added to the playablitity of the piece. It is also my grail I guess since it's long gone and I can't bring myself to spend the coin they demand these days. The Falcon is a very close 2nd place.

The great thing about the DeathStar was that on the bottom was the classic x-wing tie fighter picture and the line up of the first 12 figures...brilliant!

Never had any playsets, so Falcon and AT-AT had most play value for me as a little 'un. The B-Wing was my choice for beauty - still think it's a stunner.

Thats actually the only thing (as far as i know) that differentiated between the palitoy and the canadian one, the canadian one just had a solid black bottom.

Has to be the Speeder Bike, only one I owned as a young fella....... Loved it and the Biker scout that came with it. :D Remember a mate of mine had everything, Falcon, AT-AT, Slave 1, Ewok Village, Rebel Transporter......Do I sound bitter....... :(

Well played mate, I remember covering my whole bedroom with white toilet roll and polestyrene tiles to recreate Hoth. It was immense, but followed by a smack on the bum and a lot of tidying up

Ditto

I use to use a white bedsheet on cushions for hoth :p

For me my fave vehicles as a kid were the X-Wing and Landspeeder. The Old Folks just couldn't afford splashing out (moreover saving up enough) for a Falcon or an AT AT. I remember waiting until January '84 to get my Jabba playset and was ecstatic that freezing day when it came.
