Many possible choices but here are some I love

I Believe in Father Christmas by Greg Lake
In Dulce Jubilo by Mike Oldfield
Little Drummer Boy by Bing Crosby and David Bowie
Santa Claus is Coming to Town by Bruce Sprinsteen
Stop the Cavalry by Jonah Lewie (only really a Christmas song because he says the word in the chorus)

cos they all came out when I was a kid and Santa Claus was still real :)

Great choices.... Rob mate, Santa is real mate, it's just a conspiracy, Disinformation at its best.

We all know that if enough people believe it does give something 'reality' and millions of kids and adults around the world cannot all be wrong can they?

Even NORAD knows, they even track him! I rest my case! Why would a govt agency invest so much in something that didn't exist.

Happy Christmas mate....believe

My work is done

Absolutely love the whole concept of Christmas :D

Used to live in a bungalow, when my lad was about 5 I dressed in a Santa suit, climbed up on the roof, made s some noise down the chimney with some little jingle bells, then got down really quickly got changed and walked into the room, later that evening, we sat looking up at the stars, and there was a shooting star, from that moment on he believed he had heard and seen Father Christmas as a kid 8)

Awesome moment for me as a dad 8)

Btw ...I hope you've been a good lad this year

This is my favourite Carol, better than any modern rubbish, I'm quite a traditionalist at Christmas and this actually brings a tear to my eye - it's the last verse - gets me every time, the word's are simply beautiful and thought provoking.

Beautiful choice mate, I love traditionalism especially at Christmas

Beautiful words, I love poetry, and the carol is based on the words of a poem, written by the
English poet Christina Rossetti

Great choice mate :D

Thanks Mike

It reduces me to watery eyes every time I hear it - especially this version, it's simply spot on. I love it.

Have to agree there, a very nice carol indeed.

I also love God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen - having that playing whilst reading A Christmas Carol, and watching the snow falling outside, is one of my ultimate yuletide pleasures. Fat chance of Christmas snow in NZ though

And yes Mike, I've been a very good lad this year

Dean Martin _ Let it Snow
FGTH _ The power of love

I never understood how FGTH Powe of Love became a Christmas song :? Yes, the vid has three wise men and all that but it's just not a Christmas pop song. There aren't even any sleigh bells in it!!

:x

Greg Lake's 'I Believe in Father Christmas' always gave me goosebumps as a kid, and still does today when I hear it.

Superb carol, Paul- like you, I'm a bit of a traditionalist... this one from Prokiev always gets me in a festive mood:
