Farthest From V and beyond

I'm pleased to announce the first feature of the show, Star Walls.

'STAR WALLS' - an exhibition of Artwork inspired by the 'Star Wars' universe.
first on display in 'The Stone Space' gallery (May 16th - June 9th) in Leytonstone - the birthplace of Stuart Freeborn.

'Episode Two Floors'- at 'Two Floors' Bar Soho London.

'Return of the Art'- Norlington Road Studios. Leyton.

Farthest From will be the venue for their fourth exhibition.

Star Walls creator and curator, Elliott Ashton (who some old school collectors may remember as EyeOfMaul) will be down exhibiting and offering limited edition prints from the contributing artists. I actually have a couple of these already, and they are stunning!!!

Damn sorry guys I'm off on holiday on the 26th :(

Dave, in future please feel free to spam your event in the 'main' forum too, I don't check this section often so completely missed FFIV

So when's FFIV?

That's an easy one .... Last December ;)

FFVI is looking like September (but not first weekend of the month), FFVII looking like December if that helps? :)

D'oh!

September is an excellent month for me. I will be there! December.... it all depends. :D

Is anyone planning on heading down to fordingbridge the night before for a drink, star wars chatter and maybe a curry. Last time the lads came down in the Falcon but I know Jez can't make it. Im looking at sorting some accommodation out but don't want to end up as billy no mates.

Hmm, still undecided for 2 reasons. May have my parents down that weekend. And will be about 3 days shy of my first pay packet in a year and a half, so
may be skint depending on how well my fully disclosed Tonis on ebay sell. Will know more in a couple of weeks.

cheers Jason

You'll be in good company, Saturday I'm in Corsham near Bristol to do a charity event, so won't be back until early evening to set up, I won't be around for a meal, but should be able to get a drink in or two?
However Mark from the Star Wars Insider is staying down, he and (insert covert guest announcement) Paul Bateman will be getting food, so am sure they'll be happy for everyone to eat together :)

For those unfamiliar with the name, Paul is an artist best known for his work associated with Ralph McQuarrie. Paul has produced several Star Wars works himself (some may have seen this at Celebration Europe last year), but is also an archivist and expert of sorts to the life and work of Ralph McQuarrie, where he worked with him. Paul also cameo'd in Revenge Of The Sith, where he played Mon Calimari Senator Meena Tills in the opera scene.
Paul will be doing a talk on Ralph McQuarrie and available all day for folk to ask any questions on the work that so strongly influenced the look of Star Wars.

Paul Bateman will be there! You're really tempting me now Dave. Needs to check my schedule again.

I'm sure you're doing this just to piss me off!

Mr Palitoy Cardbacks will be returning with vintage nostalgia in pure cardboard form.

(plus free Toy Toni appraisal service - you bring them, I'll tell you when he glued them together and on what steam iron setting).

:)
