i could never get leave anywhere near Christmas

Same here, Baz- I've got my fingers crossed (both hands, too) here in Yorkshire for an early December Farthest From. There's no holiday allocation from my work on the two weeks running up to Christmas, and I'm going to have to book a long weekend. In fact, I may just arrange it this Monday when I'm back on shift- just on the off chance... then I won't be gazumped at the last minute by some unscrupulous work colleague... :evil: :lol:
