Famous Monsters of Filmland

I was searching through Ebay and stumbled across these film magazines that i've never heard of before - Famous Monsters of Filmland. Has anyone heard of them? There are some stunning pieces of cover art including many issues with a Star Wars theme. Seen various issues with awesome Darth Vader covers.

Go on Ebay and check 'em out. Was wondering if they are actually a good read. I would probably buy one or two just for the covers to go with the few framed comics I have up - MAD, 2000AD, Dredd etc. These would look great.

Aw, that's nice Barry... very nice! You should purchase it, would look great in a frame nestled amongst your collection- the Tusken Raider cover is a fine work of art 8)

I hadn't seen the tusken raider one until I did a quick search for this post. Loads of really nice art work. Can't beat a good cover.

Will be getting myself one of these eventually. Sort if thing that would make a great star wars showcase.
