falcon training ball

Wer all the training balls black? I bought a Falcon a few years back and the ball was also smooth. Was listed as all original parts but the colour was like a light purple/pink colour.

Time for a little bump on this as I've just picked up a Falcon.
I'm after a bit of advice on the training ball, I think it's legit but would like a scone opinion.

Thanks Andy, pretty pleased overall as it has all the expensive bits, just need a smuggler floor and possibly a new shell

There is different variants of that ball but so far it looks also legit to me.

I once had a repro that I dropped on the floor and then there was no ball left. It smashed to many pieces :shock:

I've heard of the smooth ball but never seen one. My childhood ESB Falcon had the multi-faced one. I need the arm and ball for my boxed Falcon but it's not high on my list, not really bothered.

The genuine arm is supposed to have 7 lumps along it with an EPM on the last one nearest the end and the genuine ball has a lot more/smaller flat surfaces on it according to TIG. I only had a quick look at the pictures, I suppose it could be a variant?

only when its very cold :lol: sorry couldn't resist my empire palitoy falcon ball is just the clear multi sided bead, had it since new so know its correct do vaguely remember a thread on the blue bead before cannot remember where thou
