Fake or Real Vader ?

Maybe he used the cream to ease the legs in from another figure. Not really sure. He must have had one with a ****ed up torso and this one had chewed up legs????

I have a lot of lando capes :D Any pictures and can you tell me anything about it ?

It was good for size and shape. Slightly lighter than the other two genuine Lando capes I have, the arm hole size and position was good. I can't remember if it zipped or not but the edges were very rough on close inspection, just not cut as cleanly as the other capes I have.

Not even sure where he is actually :?

That is also what I fear, I will take some pictures of the figure when I get home. Maybe the body is not taiwan :?

Check with Oscar (M4K3R1) , saber looks correct ( it is more flexible? ) There is more than one Taiwan Vader cape.

Hi Lars, this is my favourite coo Vader, the figure looks good to me, a photo of the front would help.

The white residue to me looks like soap residue that was not washed off properly and the residue dried out,
this is why you say it is creamy and you can rub it off,
did you manage to wash the residue off completely?

The U shape pattern of the white marks follow the shape of the top, flat part of the legs, where it meets the bottom of the torso,
the gap between the top of the leg and the bottom of the torso in your figure is very close, which leeds me to think that the figure was washed, the legs were not moved, the soap built up in that area and dried out, leaving the U shape residue.

If it was glue it would follow the weld line on the bottom of the torso, and would be hard and not rub off.

The weld line on the bottom of the figure does not look like it has been opened.
The Made in Taiwan figure for vader has the thin, long chest buttons on the front torso, with the thin belt buckle with small dot in the centre, if yours has the same front torso, then you are OK, but if the front torso has a different chest plate/belt details then I would question if the figure was put together with parts.

The lightsaber and cape for the Made in Taiwan Vader, are the correct ones in your pictures, this type of lightsaber is the only correct type, for the MITW figure, it has the tapered tip, the large round circle on the handle, and is very flexible. It only belongs to the MITW figure and no other coo.
The capes in your pictures are the correct capes for the MITW figure also. Yours shows the grainy type, flat colour on one side, and a little shine on the other, the cape for the MITW figure will always have the square corners, does not make any zip sound, is thinner, and flexible. This cape type is only correct for MITW figures and no other coo figure. There are also some different feel and look capes for the MITW figure.

The photo you show of the 2 coo stamps being different, is also correct for this MITW coo figure. These are the 2 coo stamps for the MITW Vader mold family, there are always a pair of stamps for any coo mold family, with very minor differences, this coo mold stamp has the difference in the spacing between the 2 lines.
You can check all about this on Wolff's 3.0 coo sheets. This is the best reference for anything coo related.

As long as the front torso on this figure has the correct details, you are safe.
If it doesn't, then I would agree that it has been put together.

Blah,Blah,Blah, Hope it help you :)

Hi Oscar, thanks for the HELP :D

Here is a picture from the front of the figure, does it look fine ?

I'm sure I sold one of these to Oscar a year or so ago, everything looks and sounds right to me for the Made In Taiwan variant. From what I remember the the saber was almost translucent, the cape was very flimsy but didnt feel like a cheap replica and I'm sure it didnt make the zip sound and felt soft to touch. A really nice variant :)
