Fake or Real Vader ?

Hi guys I bought some items from this guy that I later got warned about

Got them today.

What is the white stuff in the bottom, I have never seen it before on figures ?



The saber glow under UV light, but is it the correct for this figure ?





Last the cape does not make the zip sound, but some says some figures are sold with capes without the zip sound is this the one with that cape ?

BLUE SNAGGLETOOTH The figure was made up of parts and not original!

So could this one also be made up of parts ?

The saber looks real to me, but I do not know if it is the Made in taiwan saber ?

And if the cape should not make any zip sound on made in taiwan vader ?

I have compared the cape the other cape I have that also confuse me and they are 99% the same

I do not know if it is glue :? I think if he wanted to trick me he would have removed it. But seems like another guy have been tricked.

Could be a Frankenvader, is it worth going to the trouble though?

Hopefully someone else has a similar bum defect and can throw some light on things. I have improved the contrast on your pic for a better view of Vaders butt.

Could be glue, definitely not the norm though :?

Could just be a broken figure that was patched up for a sale...

That figure looks extremely glossy...could be the flash.. As far as any white stuff coming out of his ass...not touching it.

Here is a compared picture with another Taiwan, but the coo is not the same.



Maybe it is not parts that is put together ? maybe it is damaged and glued together. I can remove the with stuff with my fingers. It is like cream :lol:

Could it be some stuff to clean it with ?

I would have gone with it just being a repair job, but what sort of glue stays 'creamy' after the repair, a sale on eBay and the delivery? That must be at least 3 days, probably a lot longer.

I have removed the stuff on his ass and nothing seems to be broken. But there is also some where the legs goes inside the figure.

Could it be something that seals the figure, could he have taken 2 damaged figures and put them together to 1 nice ?

Not sure about the vader but that ebay account is one that belongs to Ian hamilton.

Someone with a poor repuation as a buyer and someone I wouldnt trust as a seller.

Yes I know, just wish I knew it before I bought it. Fear I have been tricked, but I will not kick his ass if there is nothing wrong with it.

So I need to know more about the strange stuff and if it could be one that is put together of parts from 2 figures and also if the cape is repro ?
I only know about the capes with zip sound and leather capes that does not make any zip sound and the ledy capes.

I do not know this cape but now I have 2 of those capes now :?

Capes are a nightmare...

Some are easy to spot but I think recently some better quality ones have hit the bay. Not only that but the quality varies so much with the originals it makes determining a repro even harder.

Can't help with the cape, not that I helped much with the figure :lol: :lol:

It was a dodgy Lando Vinyl Cape that bought me to SWFUK for advice... never got to the bottom of it. :?

omg, I hope I get some help faster than you. Because I would not give him good feedback if it is fake. Maybe I can help you with the lando cape, I have a lot of lando capes Any pictures and can you tell me anything about it ?

Glad I learned some years ago to keep my info where and when I buy my stuff :lol:

Looked back in history and found out in early 2012 I bought another Taiwan but the coo is not the same taiwan coo than this one I have just bought. The other cape I have is the same material and does not make any zip sound. The only difference there are, is the first is bigger than the other :?

But I have also always been confused about the other cape :?

So are Taiwan vader with capes with no sound ? what is the chance that I buy a taiwan vader in 2012 and another in 2014 and the cape is nearly the same, only the size is different, if they are repro :?

Here they are on each other, as you can see one is a little bit bigger than the other, but again they come from 2 different taiwan coo
