Star Wars fans and action figure collectors will soon have the chance to bid on a certified, AFA-90 First Shot Vintage Yak Face (1985). This figure is THE HIGHEST RATED PROTOTYPE YAK FACE FIGURE. This figure is one of only three Yak Face first shots prototypes to receive a 90 Rating by the Action Figure Authority. In addition to the figure being only one of three AFA-90 prototype Yak Face figures known to exist in the world, it likely is the only one that is up for sale. (The AFA serial number for the figure being sold is AFA#10120249.)
Additionally, this vintage prototype Yak Face action figure is one of 20 total prototypes of this highly desired action figure registered with AFA. All but three prototype Yak Face figures have been rated 85 or below by AFA.
This is a rare opportunity to own the highest-quality, certified prototype of one of the most collectible and desired Star Wars action figures from the original Star Wars series.
At Noon ET, April 23, 2011, this figure will be posted for sale on eBay. The figure is sealed in an archival acrylic case, which helps protect it from damage from ultraviolet light.
