Guys can you help me authenticate my EWOKS Made in Mexico Wicket moc. Arn't MIM cards meant to have a hole punched in card behind bubble? Don't MIM Wicket bubbles usually have a waffle pattern. Have i just bought a dud

Not all MIM cards have a hole punched in the back, it was a factory habit

I have and have had quite a few which didnt have a punch hole.

Dont know about the waffle bit but its making me want to eat a birdseye potatoe waffle.

Its fine Dark, the waffle pattern that can be seen on some droids/ewoks cards is not on others.

Normally logray and wicket don't have them and instead have them like yours, just a flat plastic bubble sealed to the card (and yes it does look dodgy because I suspected mine as well ) but all fine legit and original

Actually although all the other characters do yellow I have never seen a yellow logray or wicket!

This bubble type must be similar to SW bubbles in the yellowing department.

All MIM Ewoks, Droids & ROTJ bubbles lack the waffle pattern. All MIM ROTJ figs have the hole while the MIM Droids & Ewoks figs do not. Also, only Sise & Tig Fromm from Droids and Wicket & Logray from Ewoks were "Made In Mexico".

That's pretty bad haha

Then again if I forget every 2 years (which seems to happen to me) its like learning it again for the first time lol

That's FANTASTIC news thanks everyone for all the help. I've learnt loads from you guys in such a small amount of time. Until now i haven't ventured into the DROIDS and EWOKS line so i don't know much about them, i just got a KEZ IBAN and JORD DUSAT MOC from Australia but they both had a waffle pattern so i was a little concerned the EWOKS line should have it also not knowing MIM are totally different. I guess its not that easy to complete these two sets MOC but i shall have fun trying. :wink:

Speaking of the hole, (don't even think about it) I just picked up a MIM Ree Yees and he DID NOT have the hole behind the figure.

The back of the card should tell you if the figure was made in mexico
