if not then **** em as they give him so much stick for " betraying " them. we all go to better employment when the money and opportunities are better, so why are they bitter about getting 30 million for team rebuilding .... we let them have phil neville and tim howard

I'd be more made up playing for Everton than any other club, seeing as I'm an Evertonian is that such a lame view point? I'd choose playing at Goodison for life over leaving them just so I could play champions league football. If he'd have given us a few years just to prove that "once a blue always a blue" then I think most fans would have accepted he had to move on eventually if we couldn't match his ambition. Thing was though he was a local lad who's family are all devoted blue's (his dad was in the upper bullens watching him parading himself infront of the park end) and he pissed off at the first opportunity having made less then 50 starts for the club he was supposed to love leaving an unsigned Ã'£50'000 a week club record contract on the board room table.
He's a little **** for brains, people may come to expect such a mecenary attitude from young footballers nowadays and say it was innevitable, but by my standards of loyalty I'd show a bit more devotion to the team I'd supported my whole life before considering jumping ship to join the rich local rivals.
He's also ugly, shags smelly old prostitutes and is girlfriend is only with him for the money.
