Escape from death Star board game varations

As you know there are many different country variations for the escape the death Star game. I've just noticed though that there appear to be 2 different us kenner versions with the only difference being in the contents. There seems to be a version that come with an early bird catalogue, instructions that state there are 52 force cards, 52 force cards and a spinner box with cut out.

The other version has no catalogue, instructions that just state a pack of force cards, 50 force cards and a spinner box with box at the bottom.

I hadn't heard of this before. I realise it's probably not very interesting unless you are into board games but can anyone confirm this to be correct.

Just picked one up in much better shape than my old one and found they are different versions. Oddly enough, both have exactly 50 cards with the same breakdown by type. Looking at the board from the 'early bird' set, there isn't the company info at the top which is on the other board. The force cards from the 'eb' set are centered better, the spinner has a cutout to hold the cards and there is also a little booklet.
