Been spending the afternoon retrieving my collection from my parents' loft. First figure out of the box was this :) Would be grateful if someone could give me a good indication as to it's value, as I haven't got a clue!

Thanks! :)

Nice FX-7

Not sure how much it is worth but I would be interested in him when you find out.

Cheers

Mark

Thanks mate- sorry, but I won't be selling him. I just want to try and get a rough value for my collection.

Mark, I'll get some more pics up later tonight hopefully. Really pleased with what I've got- quite a few I'd forgotten about!

Any thoughts on price guys? Had a good search through the ebay finished listings, and it's really difficult!

Here goes: FX-7: £125, Zuckus: £125, Luke X-Wing £350, Power Droid: £250, Lando: £150, Han Hoth: £125.

All are in superb condition as you can see from the pics :) Am I way off?

Nice loft finds you have there :D

I think your estimates are defiantly low in places and the last X-Wing Luke MOC went for 700 GBP, but was a UKG 85, you might get 4-450 for it maybe. The Lando I couldn't find a price for although there have been a couple of recent auctions that might show you a value), but I think it would probably go for around 350 if it was on ebay. Just checked on the Ashtons recent auction and both the X-Wing Luke and Lando went for 140 GBP, although your Lando is in better shape and I think these prices are very low for these figures at the moment.

One thing is you said these were from the loft so I was wondering how long they were up there and also was it a normal loft space or some sort of conversion? I only ask as the bubbles still look nice and clear and I know some people have mentioned storing items like this in the loft can cause damage.

Hi Ian,

Thanks for your info. They were all stored in Star Cases in lidded plastic boxes in a normal loft. Yeah, more I think about the Lando, the more I think it's worth. It's in superb condition and is a 'first ed' Lando. I've struggled to find similar. Any ideas about the others? Not seen Zuckuss on a card with the foreign text in the top left corner before.

Some great pieces there - it is getting harder to give an accurate price on things like these as there are so few coming onto the market these days - I am sure more are disappearing into collections for the long term

Yours do look exceptionally nice ad I think your valuations are very low for today's market

Hi there.

The zuckuss is a Dutch card, released by clipper in holland and I believe some of the other Low Countries.

As for value, I haven't a clue.

Hope this helps a bit.

Thanks guys. Yeah, it does seem to be quite tricky to nail down an accurate valuation. Nice to know where Zuckuss originates from :)

Some very nice stuff there.

You've got quite a mix of Kenner, palitoy and clipper for a childhood collection. The clipper in particular is odd to have, and so many unpunched too.

Mind me asking why you need a valuation?

Hi,

I'm putting it on the house insurance and they need a value + I'm just curious! ;)

Ps- none of my carded stuff is from my childhood- it's all from my early 20's ;)

Ahh that makes more sense :p

You've been abit lucky with the bubbles I think keeping them in the loft. Never realised til last summer just how ridiculously hot it gets up there, I'd keep them in the house itself if you can. Those yellow bubbles kill value.
