ESB 30 Back

Just seen one of these on another thread - you can see a lot of differences between the picture of the figures and what actually came out

Imperial Stomrtrooper - small gun
Bossk - diferent gun
Han Hoth and Rebel Solider - white stripes on their boots
Han Hoth - brown fur around hood

any others ?

There are a few little differences on these hand painted prototypes, I love em, far superior examples to what hit the toy shops! Love that Luke Bespin with the silver buckle 8)

But that is pretty interesting. The 'photo' posted is not reversed. Just the photo of the figures on the card-back. Very peculiar.

Some of these hand painted figures appear in the 1980 department store catalogue 3 pack promotional photos too

I think they look fantastic, the details really make them come alive.

I went to the RS thread about it, then got started on the fake hand painted baggies thread that was wrongly linked at the start. 2 hours later and 51 pages or so later I finally got to bed :lol: Still find it amazing that there are so many incident's like that over the years about fakes, rip offs, dodgy sellers etc. It's a bit disturbing and makes me cynical.
