My business fees per month are regularly topping £700

Amazon have been knocking at my door but they require you have a percentage of new stock. And their fees for some bits are chronic.. Jewellery eg almost 30%
.

Yeah, amazon are way worse than ebay. Their fees are ****ing ridiculous. I used them for a little while when i started up drop it after a couple of months.

I use Amazon for books and CDs, all their fees are upfront. Not sure if I'd ever try vintage stuff on there. eBid is a Catch 22 situation, not enough traffic - people don't list on there; not enough stuff - not enough traffic. Needs one or two big sellers to get on there from eBay (won't happen as eBay suck the metaphorical cock of those guys).

Just had a look at ebid, don't like the set up or navigation. They will need to improve hell of a lot to get me to register to buy or sell with them.

Star Wars stuff on there is limited and does not have the same variety as Ebay

Looks like its time for ebid to make a breakthrough then as this is utter bollocks, think I may give ebid a go, what's there to loose, ebay sucks balls!

That was an interesting article.

Plus if you sign up for ebid now they have a great offer whereby you can pay £50 upfront and then have very limited fees thereafter (might be worth reading small print first).

Think I'm going to bite the bullet and go for it, let the revolution begin!!!

Have you tried etsy for vintage listings? I know a couple of people who have been quite successful with it (not with star wars but other stuff). There's a bit on there.
