Pre warning -photo heavy!
told you guys I would post photos of my son's collection soon as I got a chance, well what can I say guys - HUGE thanks to all of you that helped me to get a collection of figures together for my 7 year old son this Christmas, he is SW mad & just loves anything SW related about as much as he likes breathing, much like myself at his age, at his age for me though SW ANH was just coming out at the cinemas & the idea of having this kind of collection was not even a dream, so I can only imagine how chuffed he is to own them, he has not stopped playing with the since he opened them on Christmas day, with general Grievous & the droid factory being firm favourites, I managed to get 78 out of 79 of the first issues together for him, he only needs a death squad commander to complete the run
, also got 2 of the last 17 for him as well as all the ships you can see, this is WAY in excess of my hopes of what I would be able to put together for him & its down to you guys that it has been made possible, so give yourselves a HUGE pat on the back.
I managed to pick up the cabinet in a charity shop just b4 christmas for £15 & had a 2nd shelf cut for it & TBH I think it fantasticaly displays his collection & he agrees thankfully.
I have a few of the last 17 on there way over from the US at the mo, & am still trying to get a solid top R2 for him.
First up are photos of them all on display after he has arranged them with a little help, but 90% of the display is his own work.
Next up Christmas days opening & super happy simile head son
& lastly photos he has been avidly taking himself which I have been told MUST be included on the thread, he wants to personally thank all of you for making this possible as I explained how I managed to get it done for him.
