Ebayers with high amount of retracted bids on items...

I was considering bidding on an item this evening. I have however noticed the seller's auctions all have a common theme. The auctions have far more retracted bids than actual bidders. The auctions are private listing too. Am I fair to assume this is not normal possibly dubious?!? Your thoughts please....

I refrained. It's a shame as the items were really good and would have sold on merit. The item I was looking at had 45 retracted bids with only 6 bidders on it. Other auctions of the same seller were also like this. I guess it's just greed.

Call me naive but I have never noticed it before, but this appeared quite blatant. I take it it's not worth flagging with eBay for them to consider?

Ebay won't give a ****. They'll pretend to care but at the end of the day a higher selling price means more fees for them

if thats the case just put in your max bid and walk away, you may lose the auction and get aPM a hour later with a 2nd chance offer if he has shilled them him self
