What you sorry for Jason? Sorry that you have lost the trust of the community? Sorry that you have made it more difficult for trusted buyers to purchase from overseas? Sorry that you got caught?

Your apology to the seller was something about wanting to put your fist down his throat right? Nice.

Black day for the hobby.

I just can't mate sorry ,it's a simple ask I just can't show ,as I said it seals my fate ,I'll live with the decision ,I'm not guilty but I'll live with the decision ,but I'll not share my pay pal data sorry very sorry .

Jason, can you give direct answers to these 3 questions.

What additional items did you purchase from coin corner?
Did you receive photos?
How much did you pay and what payment method did you use?

Question 1. Not answered.
Question 2. Yes. PLEASE POST THEM. You do not need screenshots for this.
Question 3. Not answered.

Seriously Jason, if you are innocent then you really are your own worst enemy... everyone is trying to help. Why are you unwilling to give direct answers to the questions? If I was your defence lawyer I would be suggesting it might be time to change the plea from 'not guilty'...

Don't think we are really going anywhere with this now are we? Perhaps time for the mods to make a conclusion and the inevitable to happen.

Here's every email I have with the words "Luke Skywalker" or "Chewbacca." You can see that the case on the Luke Skywalker figure was reversed and we were refunded $558 from Ebay. We never had a 12 back Chewbacca, just the 21 back we sold on Ebay.

I am no expert collector but I do collect vintage Star wars. I have bought of e-bay and it's sicking that there are people who try to rip off others. I think everyone has there own mind made up who's bullshiting. When there's money involved it's not on.

After reading all of this and contacting Toby it turns out that I've been in his shop in Oregon City and have met him in the past and bought from him. My take on him is that he's very trustworthy and also makes many ebay sales each week so would never try to pull a fast one on anyone. A very close American friend of mine also buys from him and has been doing so for years and regards him in the same way I do. I know it's one word against the other and I'm not sure if my word counts for anything here but that's my personal thoughts on Toby.

As for you Jason you only need to forward one of the mods the pictures of the Chewbacca that Toby sent you. It really isn't rocket science to get yourself in the clear and if you can send messages here then you can easily do that. You have to submit some proof of this purchase or unfortunately you're going to be struck from here by the sounds of it.

Ian

As far as I can see there is no proof so there really is no point in trying to convince Jason to post or pm any. If he really cared about his reputation and had any desire to stay on this forum then surely he'd post it, the fact is he doesn't have it hence why it's non forthcoming.

I for one will be adding a new name to my block list! The community has had some bad eggs lately and it certainly doesn't want anymore!

Small print : I would happily eat my hat if proven wrong

I had to pop out earlier so didn't get the chance to post an update on this but a couple of hours ago I decided it was for the best to ban JFK's account for the time being. The ban can be reversed of course providing he contacts one of us (or passes a message on through one of you guys) but that's only if he intends to come back with the necessary screenshots/messages or whatever else to prove his innocence or at the very least show that Toby/Coin-corner has been telling tall tales about him, that was all that was ever asked of him after all.

Banning a SWF member is not a task any of us particular enjoy, especially if they've been registered for a while but on this occasion I think JFK was given enough chances to tell his side of the story without all of the bullshit and it just never materialised. Sorry to those that stuck up for him, I know a lot of people genuinely wanted the truth and hoped he would deliver some kind of proof that would clear his name but he obviously wasn't prepared to do that (you can probably guess why) which left us with no real other option..

Coin-corner, please don't let this issue with JFK put you off posting here or perhaps even selling here in the future, all the best with your business - the majority of us brits are actually rather nice chaps :)

Yes it's sad that was done but from what I make of it the right decision was taken. I haven't been here that long but I like to think I can trust you guys if I ever buy anything or try my luck at selling!

****.

That is sad.

Been ages since a banning.

I remember the good old days when it was weekly.

And Sandcrawlers came with tits in STAGE7 HD :)

Stunned beyond belief. ****ing devious **** like makes my blood boil and makes EBAY an even scarier place to sell.

I'm sorry it came to this. I don't understand how people think they can get away with something like this. I have no problem selling to the UK. We ship worldwide everyday. If I get some free time, which I have so little of lately, I'll post some pics of Star Wars stuff we have for sale. I collected vintage Star Wars toys in the mid-90's but the only things I have now are my childhood favorites, Death Star Space Station playset, R2-D2 bop bag, inflatable light saber and the Hoth Micro sets. Sorry this was my introduction to the forum, I've heard good things about it before but had never visited.

It is just that one mistake or temptation that leads to fall from grace. Most of the scamsters are not serial offenders ( barring a few truly psychopaths), it's almost like a crime of passion.

I hope something good comes out of it and as a group all of us can learn from this. There is no place for a scam of this kind. There is also no place for that little bit of profit by ****ing someone else up.

I believe in Karma and it comes back somehow.

I agree with your statement 100% - it's a shame as JFK appeared to be a trusted member. Sadly, that moment of madness destroyed his reputation. And like most members, he has now been added to my ebay block list. I have little sympathy for him as it was his own doing.
