It's all gone wrong on Ebay, my usual searches are bringing back 4 things when I usually get loads lol!

I just noticed the sections have changed too, now its year and make? They even have a Palitoy category now..(or was that there before??)

Reckon things will start turning up later as they all find their correct sections? At the moment there are several items like this one: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TRILOGO-LAST-17-BARADA-AFA-85-80-85-U-P-C-B-CLIPPER-OFFER-/250914898073?pt=UK_ToysGames_ActionFigures_ActionFigures_JN&hash=item3a6bb18099#ht_600wt_810 that have no category listing at the top to link back to? It's in limbo!

Ebay.com has things listed in a general tv + video games section now too instead of Vintage: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Star-Wars-Palitoy-Carded-Tri-Logo-Romba-Chipper-Offer-AFA-80-/251050559656?pt=US_Action_Figures&hash=item3a73c788a8#ht_500wt_1061

It's all leaving me thinking "if it ain't broke don't ****ing fix it!"

I am noticing this too now. TBH I am sick and tired of Ebay Changes! Just leave it as it ****ing is

Hear hear!, its like in supermarkets when that feel the need to change everything round every 3 months just so you spend more time browsing & end result you buying other stuff you did not go in for, I hate this ****, just leave well enough alone. :x

****ing piece of **** ebay! It's getting annoying now

Yep it seems they are dicking about with it yet again. Why is it they do this do they really think it enhances the the experience?

I just hope it goes back to normal sometime soon - probably means I will have to do a complete new set of ****ing bookmarked searches now as the categories I search in no longer exist

Same ere Joe

Just logged in to eBay to bid on a auction. Well, I didn't win of course and thought I would check out the newly listed stuff only to find out that they are messing around with the sections. Stupid bastards! Leave it as it is! I signed out right away so eBay didn't make any money of me today. No wonder the saved searches looked strange. Good job evil bay.

Email sent showing my digust/dissapointment. Will update you on any response I get :)

Same here, though the comment "which crayon using halfwit was let loose on the fisher price keyboard" might not get a response.

Lots of modern crap listed along with my saved searches for vintage now. Ebay know what they are doing. Not!

Lots of none star wars crap in my star wars saved searches now too. Guess they don't want to make it too easy!

I spoke to someone at ebay on the phone about this earlier & they have no plans to change it back :x & that I should "QUOTE" see how it goes for a while "END QUOTE" - in other words **** right off we don't give a rats ass, but I asked him to log my complaint & also said that it has been on all the star wars forums world wide, not that it helped, so I asked for an address for written complaints & he emailed me the above address.

I think if we want out specific categories back the only way to make that happen is to put a LOT of pressure on ebay to do so & the only way we have of doing that is to write & email then repeatedly & not just us vintage guys, I think if we want action we will have to look at the big picture & get on to other toy collecting sites & get everyone behind this not just vintage SW, as its the numbers that count in ebays books not the small seller & certainly not the individual, so I suggest we get a generic letter written up not just a SW related one & post it & get EVERYONE we know to both email it to them & to print it down & send it in to them, either that or we can all just forget about using ebay for buying & selling again period.

Thoughts?
