I guess so. He even said to me in one of his last messages that why would HE risk his 100% feedback in selling me a fake??? Why would he say that? Surely he knew that doing a deal through PayPal and not Ebay would not affect his score?

I'm not familiar with that thread on Dengar, not sure where to look.

The gist of the Ewok Village was that the guy took the money - sent it out and then got it back from the RM and re-advertised it before telling the original buyer (and obviously refunding it!)

Have you got his acknowledgement that he has had it back ?

If so then what does he expect you to do ? He has to either refund you or at least send the Jawa back - what has he said he will do ?

He's got it as I have the proof from tracking but he's said nothing since!\

Here's a thought too, PayPal want proof it was fake, so what's to stop me from putting a fake one on (if his was genuine) and then sending it off for authentification?? Makes no sense, pointless and proves nothing!!

My gut feeling with things like that is that paypal know that it is far too expensive/too much hassle for most to get things authenticated so they have less cases to deal with. I had the same problems with some repro weapons sent out to me - I said they were fake and the only way paypal would agree to refund my money is if I could prove they were.

I think Emiel is right - you should complain to paypal that you have sent the item back, have proof of this and that the seller is ignoring you - this should at least make the seller confess he has the item back

Didn't know this could happen as they told me their going to issue me a full refund and that the case is closed BUT he's appealing so it;s re-opened!! :evil: :roll:

TBH I would think its an open & shut case being as he has had the item returned & you have proof of this, I think he is just trying to make you sweat.

Has he stated a reason for his appeal - surely as Frank says it should be open & shut - he has the figure back and you have neither the figure or the money

What a prat - if he is so confident in the little fecker then why doesnt he sell him on to someone else

Or send it in for grading to prove a point, not like it will cost the earth in comparison to the actual figure price is it.
