Bought an item though eBay via the infamous GSP. Waited over 2 weeks, check the tracking today, it says delivered, WTF there is no parcel. On the tracking info on eBay it say CitiPost, just got off phone with them, they said its subcontract out to Yodel and they will have to contact them to find out where is the parcel and will take 48 hrs (minus weekend). What a brilliant service, NOT!!!

I had one of those chains that ended up with yodel. Yodel claimed my address didn't exist initially, turns out they were just foiled by the gated access. Took about 3 delivery attempts in the end as nobody in the chain would pass the delivery info on to the next company in the chain so yodel would get the info and either type in the gate code or call me. I also got 'our delivery men don't have mobile phones as they use them to make personal calls' as another reason for a failed delivery, that might not have been yodel though,

Parcelfarce still win with 8 weeks holding one of my eBay USA wins for ransom at their holding depo for import duty.

I got past that I have to pay more plus the duties etc etc, so will use it if I absolutely must. At least I am not that annoyed if the item actually arrives!! :o

Don't talk to me about Yodel, my company ****ed them off so they lost a massive contract simply because they were too incompetent to handle it :!:
Biggest bunch of wankers I have ever seen in the delivery game :!: :!:

I remember Yodel left a note saying they left our parcel in our conservatory, which we don't have. Eventually found it in our green wheelie bin!

If you google yodel, it looks like you are lucky to get anything...

I feel for you as it happened to me twice....Ask your local royal mail postie. My postie tracked and spoke with the delivery guy (in my case Hermes) who had dumped the parcel in the wrong house. It might work.
