eBay did a good thing 🤯

As I'm sure you're all aware that you can send offers to buyers on eBay, list items as BiN or Best Offer and then engage in counter offers.

What you could find with the offer system was that you may send an offer and the buyer may accept or counter, or you could accept their counter and then they don't pay, meanwhile your listing has ended, possibly killing a fees offer.

eBay first did something to help here a while ago with making buyers auth them to take payment when submitting an offer.

Things have seemingly just got better again. Now if you accept an offer, or have a buyer accept one of your offers, the listing doesn't end, it can still be bought by others until the offer accepted is paid for.

Ebay did something sensible and that DOESNT favour the buyer over the seller, surely not!?

I noticed the other day when I put in an offer the payment was taken automatically, about time.

Unrelated, but I`d like to see what the best offer price was. I still can`t see it on completed listings.
