....sucks balls.

So, last night I stick a stupidly high bid on a figure - to make sure I get it. Ebay tells me im the highest bidder on screen. So last 30 seconds are ticking down, and i've assumed it's all tickety-boo. Auction ends - and it's sold for £70 under my highest bid - to someone else! Bit miffed - was a gen mills Leia (Bespin) and was quite pucker.

Checked my emails but hadn't gotten a bid confirmation. No sign of me in the bidding history of the item either. WTF is that all about.

All-in-all it happened in 4 of my 12 bids last night!

Not a happy chappy. It's not like ive waited for the last few seconds and the bid not gone through - the ebay screen came up telling me im the highest bidder.

Anyone else get this at all?

Nick

Never had that before. It happened to me a couple of times using sniping sites so i don't use them anymore.

I think you might have broken Ebay by buying everything :)

Never heard of that happening before, I'd put a complaint in!

I'm wondering if the seller removed your bids for some reason

Was it a UK auction or another country - because sometimes sellers don't like people from certain countries bidding on their items.

That's a good shout. Very possible.

That is odd and it must have been very frustrating.

Look like it was a UK based listing.

Message the seller to see if they can enlighten you further.

Or

Perhaps you have just reached your monthly quota for acquiring vintage SW
