Early Bird Dark Blue R2D2?

I was wondering if any one could tell me weather the eary bird r2 came with legs that were made of a soft plastic almost like rubber? Any help would be much appreciated.

Not that I know of Mike. When you say bendy how bendy do you mean? I cant say Ive really tried bending the legs on an R2. (No dodgy comments here please Weasel!)

I remember reading about a rubber legged R2, can't remember the exact details though

My solid dome has one hard plastic leg like the same as you get on most r2s and then the other is really bendy almost like rubber! The legs are the same to look at and i am pretty sure they havent been swapped over. There is just a really big difference in the material of the legs! I know its not really a big deal. I just wondered is all.

Never seen a bendy leg R2 but wouldnt be surprised. I've had 2 bendy leg hans and a bendy leg stormy too!
