To the wet behind the ears, me, I've looked on Tig, read some of the collateral RS, and general
Firstly the duller overall appearance looks age right
The wear looks age right
Just looks right
If it is wrong, then a lot of trouble has been taken to produce it this way
The fact that this has not been sold as a super find, also makes me think it could be right
The trust factor has to come in on the provenance I.e the sellers description of when and where acquired
Then again I'm no expert at all.
It will come down to the experts as things like this always do
I think you've got something that cannot be dismissed out of hand and certainly needs further investigation...so good fun for two quid, and who knows what the result will be
