Droids and Ewok series complete

Adam,

do they have all the episodes or are they rips of the VHS tapes?

There are one or two episodes I'm missing on Droids that were not on the Pirates and the Price UK VHS release. There are probably a few other episodes too that were not covered by the Uk release I think.

Let me know, anything has to be better than the re-worked versions 8)

Dave.

The DVD I have is complete, in the early 90's the US Sci-Fi Channel "Cartoon Quest" and "Animation Station" blocks of programming re-ran all episodes of the series which were captured on VHS. The episodes were later transferred onto DVD for our viewing pleasure.

The Pirates and Prince special are episodes 5-8 and are present as the feature "The Pirates and Prince" and contain the episodes "The Lost Prince", "the New King", "Pirates of Tamoonga" & "The Revenge of Kybo Ren". I'm not sure how the Episodes appear on the re-released DVD/VHS as i've never seen them but they are all present here. This is the Story of the Mon-Julpa cycle.

Treasure of the Hidden Planet however (which was also on the DVD) appears as it should do with four individual episodes 10-13 with Mungo Baobab.

I think you are probably missing "Coby and the Starhunters" from the Julpa period, it is present on the DVD as episode 9 there are the early ones you are probably missing as well like "The White Which" and "Escape into Terror" and "The Great Heap" TV special at the end. There is alot that wasn't included on the DVD release of Droids and even less on the DVD release of Ewoks.

Hope that helps.

Adam

great collection Steve, i remeber the cartoons but at the time I wasn't aware of the figures - I think I'd grown out of toys then.

When were the cartoons released?

What you need is to get them all MOC

It just so happens.....

Seriously though, great looking set. The droids/ewok figures are cool looking pieces.

Just wish they'd done a proper version of the A-wing Pilot and Fett, like they did with the C3P0 and R2
