I am intrested in something, but trying to get in touch (also very intrested in some more detailed pictures, but still awaiting a reply).

That name rang a bell straight away. All I would say is tread lightly with that one.

He has had that item listed for at least 3/4 months now and was originally looking for £2k

Look at his feedback and you will see very little in terms of SW sales and deffo nothing of that calibre.
Not saying there is anything wrong with this, I would just be wary.

I would only really feel comfortable buying that particular item face to face, or if one of your SWFUK brothers from London would be happy enough to conduct the transaction on your behalf (again face to face) then you would be fine and would save some cash from eBay and PayPal.

Well he has this one listed on eBay for 1000£, Bill has one listed for sal eon the facebook groups (better condition) for 3500$....

These are not really common and i never looked to these so i don't know about prices from previous sales and if they ever got really auctioned.

But i know a loose minty Takara Vader could sell for 800-1000$ on its own.

$3500 is a fantastic price! I couldn't sell mine for $700/£425 because of some bubble issues (that price is of course out of the window now).
