I knew someone who used to pick up loads of vintage star wars at auctions and antique shops in the uk, sadly I never got to see any of it :evil:

Too bad I dont have an extra $3000 lying around. I seen several lots I'd go for, Joes, Planet of the Apes, etc.

Haven't done an auction since the PCA last summer. The fees at the end put me off. Ebay is slightly different but real auctions can be expensive.

any auctions that i know off , the buyer and SELLER both have to pay 15% fees of the selling price !

I've done a few auctions in the past and picked up some good stuff.

I got quite a haul about a year ago. Grant's right about the 15% though.
