At a car boot sale, or jumble sale etc, I did last night went to a Table Top sale and some one was selling loads of figures for next to nothing.

Quite regularly! Usually walk around a corner in a shop, to see shed loads of vintage, only to realise that I dont have any cash!

That's why they are called dreams

I used to. Probably do now and then, but not so much these days. Always the same dream of finding figures on a carboot stall.

Used to dream of scrap yard finds when I was building my mk2 escort. I guess whatever we're obsessing about will feature when we sleep

Haha spot on, same here. Or there's too much to carry.

My most recent dream was finding 5 red bar R5-D4's in a charity shop.

Great thread!
Oh yes, I often dreamed of finding/getting back my old toys after selling them at a flea market ... before I started collecting back in 94.
But in times of nearly no internet I thought they were gone forever ... thank god it was just a dream.

yeah of course but it never hppens anymore although 2 years ago I found a 99% complete falcon and a complete snowspeeder at the end of someones driveway that they were throwing out .they were on my route (im a ups driver) I sold them on ebay . 100 fr the falcon . 40 for the speeder as I don't collect ships . took the money and bought a rare poch variant I was missing

@Plastikheld thanks :). In regards to my dream at a toy fair with few figures. Not the Sunday just gone but the one before went to York toy fair and found a PBP Hoth Commander for £4 :).

not so much these days

one vivid dream i was by a tree and i saw figure poking out the ground. i then started to dig around the area and i found hundreds all pristine figures but covered.in dirt.

woke up...bollocks.....

i can only assume i was reading about the coalville landfill at the time

I don't recall having any dreams (whilst asleep) about finding vintage. I do have A dream though, to find my childhood figures and Millenium Falcon. I sold them at a bootsale in Shoeburyness, Essex in 1989/1990 to a man who had two young sons with him. Obviously it would be impossible to track them down but if I could it would be absolutely amazing and I do wonder sometimes if they still exist, in a loft somewhere. Strange to think I could have even seen them on ebay

I have more nightmares. A family child getting hold of a MOC, the missus knocking one off a shelf, accidentally buying something at Vectis....... which has happened :D
