Do or Dont i get figures graded ?

Sorry to hear that Lee, hopefully if Steve's new cases generate a bit more interest and income he might be able to hire someone else to help grade etc and the wait time might go down, lets hope the delay is due to high intake of items to be graded and not something else.

I really hope all goes well for them, its not an easy job after all setting up a business like that and they do really seem like nice guys.

Thankfully I am not interested in grading, only cases.

Yeah i did have to wait 3 weeks for my stuff to come back, although i did have several figures to grade and they are much smaller than AFA.

Time will tell how they hold up, but their cases and friendliness are good enough for me to use them. If i wan to make a profit on my items however i will use the AFA.

Well Steve is still replying to me even now so I can only imagine how many hours he is putting in to make this work!

3 weeks return, hmm is that with priority shipping as well back and forth or regular?

My 3 week wait was without pressuring him for the return, he's a great guy and ive got a lot of time for him, i love the cases and i dont mind waiting as im sure he has a lot on...especially in this financial climate as well.

Well he is going to be an even busier boy if these new cases come into play, I know I will probably take the plunge!

If he can knock them out at a decent price he will be swamped by European collectors!

Good news for everyone I think!

Just a reminder of the smaller true view case that oscar makes :

I can't wait, time to start saving I think!

i emailed ukg bout doing my loose collection they said 10 or more figures and il get discount graded £12 or just sealed in case £10 per figure. I think its worth the extra £2 to get them graded.

Without sounding negative, i think the only reason to not get them graded would be if UKG went under as it would be a downer if the company that graded them was no more.

But i like the grading as well and im going to buy some cases to keep in store so i can case them anyway regardless.

I asked myself the same question about grading loose figures, i opted to put them on recards so i can enjoy them more, i can open anytime to send off for grading if needed. For original carded figures its just the price for me, for now ill enjoy them in star cases :)

I may have to settle for a recarded boba tri-logo...just to make a collecting feel complete.

Until i win the lottery that is...
