do ebay monitor messages

i had a dealer twice ask me to pay out of ebay. but then the messages about out of ebay transactions dissapear quite quickly in our ebay messages.....big ebay brother?

I've had ebay messages disappearing and also incoming messages arriving 3 days late - their IT is useless along with the their customer services ( assuming it still exists )

Only issues I've had are messages getting stopped when email address' are included so now send my address on a picture to avoid this problem

Perhaps some key words are flagged up but they must have a **** load of messages that go through daily and they cant all be looked into :?

I've often wondered this, as I have dealt outside ebay numerous times and normally through their messaging service.

I think they probably do, but can only monitor a small percentage so basically I have zero respect for them so abuse their system as often as I can THE ROBBING BASTARDS.

I also believe they do. Several times i have had messages mysteriously deleted. It certainly makes you wonder

had the email address removed quite a few times but not entire messages , it does not suprise me that they are starting to do this ! the money they take in fees is a joke ....you cant blame sellers for dealing outside ebay and saving a few quid

yes they do, they have keyword flags for people offering email addresses, sales off ebay ect, so choose your words carefully

You can get round this by writing ur email in another format if u will or in code shall we say :wink:

Check that your messages aren't being archived. I have this on my business account and forget.
