Display cabinets

Just in case anyone is interested. I was looking around for a decent display cabinet recently for all 97 + figures. Found a nice black one in argos goes for 70 quid . Fits them all perfectly.

I haven't organised the figures in any order yet it was just a test to check capacity etc... Now then who can tell me....Do the Rebo band qualify as "official figures" ie; should they be included in a figure display..If so then Max's organ don't fit in this cabinet.

Stick them on top of the cabinet?

I figure the best way is to only count those that came carded as figures (not playsets/or boxed in this case even though the US rebo band box is still technically a blister pack), otherwise you have to put Jabba in and stuff and it all looks a bit messy, even though the Rebo band figures are 3 3/4 just like the others I don't think I will be including them just because they are a bit tacky !

"official figures" No such thing :wink: I include the band but where do you stop? 3-leg & wind up R2, dianoga, droids & ewoks ..... I won't even talk about variations(even the ones Weasel can see). :lol: "should the band be included in a figure display?" Yes if you like it, even if the organ does not fit. But if you leave them out it makes room for some variations

Yes carded it should be I guess..Nice response though thanks.I guess it can get a bit messy..Theres Jabba as you say and then the Wampa ..Tauntains & Dewbacks...and as for the Rancor ...Yes very messy for a display cabinet!!!

No probs steve mate, I am doing it that way to save a bit of space and I am not really a big fan of the band so I guess I am biased!! and I am technically cheating by leaving them out, but I don't care

My display should hold 100 easily , and I even bid on a droids R2 the other day It's so hard to stick to your own rules!!

I "should" be going for the loose list I pasted in earlier, that'll do for me
