Just browsing ebay and saw some nice ROTJ Meccano's which are something I know very little about. They are the same phase as the ROTJ Pal 45 and 65 backs but with French text and a miro-Meccano logo. What struck me about the Luc was the centrally placed bubble and limited tearing from its removal - which seemed very familiar.
After a bit of browsing I found the Chewie, which also seemed familiar with its upside down bubble - but it looks like Chewies could fit in the right way round, unlike the Toni Snowtroopers.
To be fair Top Toys bubbles also fall off with very little help, and the Meccano's use a different bubble to anything else and it may be that one size fits all - I'll have to look at Stephane's book when I get home. Nearly all the sales on ebay are France or Europe in general, and I'd be more worried if they were UK sales.
Food for thought in any case - and some nice card backs 8)
